EFD were appointed as design consultants for their state of the art research facility at Babraham research park Cambridge. We designed and installed the new kitchen and service counters within the staff restaurant

Working closely with the client we produced detailed plans and concepts including visualisations for approval. The use of natural clean finishes influenced by Scandinavian styling were important to the client for the restaurant design.

Key elements of the design included a preparation kitchen incorporating the latest induction and accelerated cooking technology.

A stylish servery counter with chilled deli and hot service units all inset into Corian seamless counter tops, limed oak solid wood front panels complimented the look with polished stainless steel detailing.

The finished project is stunning, creating a calming sense of well being for the staff where they can relax and enjoy the high-quality cuisine on offer.
