Richard Todd of Elite Food Service Design was nominated project manager and supplier of this five star living quarters galley and dining room situated in the south easterly sector of the North Sea.
The highest quality of reliable robust galley equipment was specified for this high profile installation. This included a decorative bespoke dining room food servery counter with a solid stone granite top and decorative laminate front panels. A unique theatre style induction cook zone was included as part of the heated section. In addition, the bains marie sections were designed to operate with either wet or dry well operation with automatic water feed and drain down systems built into the controls.
Halton UV marine canopies were used over the main galley cooking equipment fitted with state of the art UV control panels. Reducing the risk of grease build up within the ductwork.
Equipment included Falcon marine galley ranges, a Solas Valentine marine fryer and Convotherm marine spec combination ovens. Services were routed through a completely bespoke service distribution unit containing all electrical cables, isolators and IP65 commando plug feeds.
Gram marine refrigeration and the highest grade of stainless steel fabrication gave a finishing touch to this superb marine installation.
Richard Todd worked closely with the site build team in Methol Scotland over a period of 12 months, managing the delivery and crainage on-board of the equipment for final installation and commissioning. Final hand over was completed on time and within budget to a delighted customer.
